We talked a lot about Martin Luther King Jr Day. Here is a link to some information and two songs about this historic figure and the book "We Shall Overcome."

Monday: We start with catching up about our Christmas break activities. I have learned to plan to be flexible the first week after a long break, so more will be posted as we go.
Tuesday: Sing "A New Year" by doing the speaking parts first, then the singing parts. Video linked here. Also will sing "Footprints in the Snow" (video below).
Thursday: we sorted flashcards helping us with the order of things that left footprints in the snow. :-)
Friday: Grizzly Bear game and sang "Bundle Up." (video below)

--One hammer, tap with one hand. Two hammers, both hands on each knee. Three hammers, add the foot (please be sitting down!). Four hammers, add the other foot. Five hammers, add the head!
